Our Story

Drs. Dan and Maricel Brady’s passion for helping others started early on in their careers. While in chiropractic school as chiropractic interns they helped serve at the “Outreach” clinic – serving the homeless population. At their private chiropractic practice, they never turned anyone away that needed chiropractic care. If the person needed chiropractic care, they found a way to make it affordable for them. When Hands for Life was established by Dr. Ron Oberstein, Drs. Dan and Maricel Brady knew in their hearts that this is how they wanted to continue to serve chiropractic, help their community, help the world through chiropractic, help provide clean water and nourishing food, and quality education. Drs. Dan and Maricel have two children of their own and they understand the importance of a quality education and also want to help with providing education to the under served communities. Both Drs. Dan and Maricel are of Filipino heritage and have seen firsthand in a third world country how scarce clean water and nourishing food can be. Through Hands for Life they have found a platform that can promote clean water and nourishing food to the areas that need them.

Our Team

We’re a family of chiropractors serving to make the world a healthier, more connected place. Our team understands the disparity in healthcare across the globe. There are some communities with access to excellent chiropractic care. There are other groups of people who have no way of receiving the benefit of chiropractic care. Our team came together to try and shrink the gap between the “haves” and the “have not’s”.

Dr. Dan Brady has been serving chiropractic since 2000. He first began his chiropractic service at his chiropractic office with his wife Dr. Maricel in Folsom, California at Café of Life Chiropractic. Under the guidance and teachings of Arno Burnier, DC they followed Dr. Burnier’s philosophy of serving chiropractic through their own Café of Life office. Since then, Dr. Brady has also served under homeopathy by earning his advanced homeopathic practitioner license. He worked at The Nevada Center in Carson City and provided homeopathic care to his patients. His passion for serving others didn’t stop there. He recently received his physician assistant license and currently works at Sweetwater Pain and Spine. With all of his knowledge about the spine and body his purpose is to help others and the underserved through Hands for Life. He hopes to provide continuous care to the underserved community of Reno and its surrounding areas and also internationally in the Philippines and other countries. Dan Brady, DC, PA-C, APH

President

Dr. Maricel Brady’s passion to help others began during her undergraduate studies at University of California, Santa Barbara. Along with her fellow sorority sisters of Kappa Alpha Theta, Dr. Brady helped raise money for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) which gives a voice to children in the foster care system. Her passion continued through chiropractic school and when she started her chiropractic office with her husband, Dr. Dan, she made it her mission to provide exceptional chiropractic care to everyone – whether they could afford it or not. Dr. Maricel and Dr. Dan never turned anyone away from care. If they had financial hardships, some way and somehow they would make it work in order for them to receive the chiropractic care they needed. Dr. Maricel didn’t stop helping others just with chiropractic care. She decided to obtain her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and got her Registered Nurse license. With the background of chiropractic and nursing, Dr. Brady combines the two disciplines to continue helping her community and the underserved. Hands for Life was a wonderful opportunity for Dr. Brady to use her dual health care licenses to help others in need. Dr. Maria (Maricel) Brady, DC, BSN/RN
